Governor of NSW grants Centre Vice Regal Patronage
It is with great pleasure that we announce His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret’d) Governor of NSW as Vice Regal Patron for the Centre for Rural and Remote Mental Health (CRRMH).
Director of the CRRMH, Professor David Perkins said the Governor and the Centre have a shared commitment to the mental health and wellbeing of people throughout rural and remote NSW.
“As Vice Regal Patron, His Excellency will play a key role in both providing and receiving advice and information regarding rural and remote mental health issues,” Professor Perkins said.
“The Governor’s grant of Vice Regal Patronage to the Centre reflects the Centre’s establishment as a reputable leader in rural and remote mental health issues”.
The Centre will also be inviting the Governor and his wife, Mrs Linda Hurley to events in rural and remote communities of NSW, and to other appropriate state and national events.
