The Centre for Rural and Remote Mental Health does not provide Emergency Services.

As a research centre of the University of Newcastle (UON), the Centre for Rural and Remote Mental Health (CRRMH) is a registered Deductible Gift Recipient. Donations received contribute to improving the mental, wellbeing and resilience of rural and remote communities by funding specific projects and services, employing rural people, and keeping the CRRMH operating.

You can choose to donate in support of specific projects or research, and we are happy to assist and support you in your fundraising efforts.

We are able to kindly accept donations through the University of Newcastle’s General Donations Portal. Complete the donation form by choosing ‘Other‘ when prompted ‘I would like my gift to go towards’, then specifying “Centre for Rural and Remote Mental Health” or “CRRMH” in the following comment box.

If you experience problems using the form, or would like to follow up on your donation, please contact us on (02) 6363 8444 or email

Thank you for your generous support.
