COMMUNITY ADVISORY COMMITTEE
ROLE OF COMMITTEE
The Committee will provide advice to the Director on all matters relating to the mission, goals and objectives of the Centre for Rural and Remote Mental Health. In order to fulfill its role in enhancing the future of the Centre, the Community Advisory Committee may be asked for specific advice on any of the following:
- Academic programs and educational initiatives relevant to the Centre's profile
- Cooperative research and consultancy opportunities directly relevant to health professionals, community organisations and industry
- Improvement in the quality of education and research provided by the Centre
- Methods of seeking donations, sponsorship and bequests to augment the Centre activities; and
- The enhancement of the Centres corporate image within the rural communities
