RAMHP’s 2013 Glove Box Guide to Mental Health Launched
The Centre for Rural and Remote Mental Health's (CRRMH) Rural Adversity Mental Health Program (RAMHP), in partnership with The Land, is pleased to announce the release of the 2013 edition of the Glove Box Guide to Mental Health.
Published in The Land on 10 October to coincide with World Mental Health Day, the Guide gets people in rural and remote NSW thinking, and talking, about mental health. Following its success in 2012, the 2013 Glove Box Guide to Mental Health acts as a reminder for us to think about our mental health as well as the mental health of those around us.
The Guide plays an important role in promoting mental health and reducing stigma in rural and remote communities, and has made a big impact on rural and remote communities. In 2012, 65,000 copies reached over 150,000 readers across NSW and beyond. RAMHP is hoping to exceed that figure in 2013.
Featuring personal stories of people who have experienced mental illness and their journey to recovery, as well as practical information on how to promote and maintain mental health, this year's Guide is a valuable resource to keep on hand.
The 2013 Glove Box Guide to Mental Health provides practical information on mental health, including how to look after your mental health, how to stay connected, when to get help and where to get help.
