ROLE OF COMMITTEE

The Committee will be responsible for the overall management of the Centre for Rural and Remote Mental Health with regard to:

  • Setting and reviewing priorities in accordance with the aims of the Centre
  • Assisting the Director in meeting and maintaining the set performance standards
  • Determining priorities for major expenditure
  • Ensuring support for CRRMH from rural area health services, and
  • Ensuring networks are established and maintained with relevant health professionals, universities, non-government organisations, carers and consumers
